Amy worked in the early childhood educational field as a preschool teacher and worked her way up into a leadership role as the center director. Amy left the workforce and has been a stay-at-home parent to her three sons, who are 14, 11, and 7. Amy attributes her desire to return to school to her oldest son, who was diagnosed with ADHD. Amy wanted to learn more about what her son was going through and understand the best ways to help him navigate his diagnosis. Amy's husband works as a commercial construction company's plumbing and mechanical project manager.

Prior to pursuing a higher education, Nina worked in healthcare administration for many years. This is where Nina learned that her strengths lied in her ability to connect with the healthcare providers she supported.
Nina enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, 21, 10, and 8. Baking, kayaking, and traveling with family are some of her favorite activities.
Nina's strengths as a therapist are providing space that feels safe and nonjudgemental. Nina works from a person-centered approach which means she values understanding the client's point of view and being genuine with her clients. This approach increases client's self-acceptance and self-esteem while helping minimize negative feelings.
