Amy Adams is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern. For those who don't know what that exactly means, the easiest way to describe it is, that Amy has graduated with a Master of Social Work degree with an advanced clinical focus and is finishing out her Clinical Residency here under site supervision from Tyne Hurtado, LMHC, NCC, Q.S. Amy was able to transition from a student intern role to a registered clinical social work intern within the practice. She is under the supervision of a Qualified Social Work Supervisor, but has all the knowledge, education, training, etc. to treat her clients with Quality Care! 

Hi there, my name is Amy Adams. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in social work from Saint Leo University. Your mental health and well-being are important to me, and I look forward to working collaboratively to help you reach your goals.

Amy has experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and couples in a private practice setting. She has experience working with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders (i.e., borderline personality disorder), PTSD/trauma, ADHD, relationship conflict, life transitions, adjustment difficulties, codependency, and other areas of clinical issue.
